Start an Out of the Wilderness ministry at your church

It’s easy to start an OOTW ministry at your church. And it’s free. By doing this, you’re helping other Christians in countries where persecution is commonplace, and you’re making a difference for eternity.

Steps to starting an Out of the Wilderness ministry at your church:

1. Get the lyrics and chords to the songs

2. Get the Presentation Outline
You can get the presentation outline by clicking here. Typically, the Out of the Wilderness presentation lasts 45 minutes. Our presentation, or performance, includes an introduction (5 minutes), 2 songs with drama (15 minutes), a video (15 minutes), a call to action (10 minutes), followed by a closing prayer.

I will give you more specific instructions on how to set up an OOTW presentation, answer any questions you may have, discuss the presentation/performance with you. Also, please contact me before doing a performance so we can pray together. I would love to pray with you, and even fast, that the Out of the Wilderness presentation will inspire the audience to pray for, fast for, and sponsor missionaries working in areas where persecution is commonplace.

4. What happens at an Out of the Wilderness presentation
Our presentations last about 45 minutes long. They start off with an introduction to who we are, our mission, and what the audience will experience. Then, we play a song, and while the song is being played, actors and actresses act out a drama to it. Following the song, we show a 10 minute film by International Christian Concern. After that, we play another song with drama. Following the song, I talk about how the audience can help persecuted Christians overseas, by fasting, praying, sponsorship. That’s followed by prayer, and I invited people to come up to the front if they have questions, or would like to get involved.
